Mission

Overview

Our General Masterclass Workshop is organised into progressive tracks — so instruction is always matched to each attendee’s stage of development. Each level builds on the last, giving attendees genuine progression rather than repeating the same basics.

Creative Sessions run for 2 hours, in groups of no more than 8 attendees. Session scheduling is confirmed at registration. Every session opens with a brief introduction to the day’s theory or technique, followed by individual work time with hands-on feedback from our Creative Host.

Foundational Track
An introduction to art fundamentals — and the start of coming to see the world like an artist. Attendees explore composition, colour, and form through a wide range of materials and mixed media projects.

Our Masterclasses

What to Expect in a Creative Session

Each session opens with a brief theory introduction. Attendees then work from reference materials with individual feedback from our Creative Host throughout — not just a group demonstration at the front.

We play soft instrumental music and welcome quiet conversation. We believe artists grow best when they share ideas. Attendees may take their artwork home at the end of each session or store it in the studio.
All materials are included. We also recommend attendees invest in their own supply kit for home practice — we’ll provide a recommended list at registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the tracks structured?

We offer a Foundational Track, an Advanced Track, and an Open Studio Track, each matched to a different stage of development. Our Creative Host is happy to help assess which track is the better fit at your trial session.

A maximum of 8 attendees per group for the Foundational and Advanced Tracks, and 10 for the Open Studio Track. Small groups mean every attendee gets individual attention and feedback.
It varies by track and session, but our program covers: graphite pencils, charcoal, ink and dip pens, fineliners, watercolour, gouache, acrylic paint, and mixed media including sculpture, linocut, and mosaics. All materials are provided.
No. Each session introduces new theory and technique. Over time, attendees work across multiple media and subject matter — the program builds skill progressively rather than repeating the same projects.
Absolutely. Our Masterclasses are designed to welcome beginners at every track. A trial Creative Session is a great way to see how it feels before registering for a full 4-session block.
Yes, when ready. We assess each attendee individually and may recommend moving to a different track if they’ve progressed faster than expected.
Please arrive on time at the end of a session. Timely pickups let our Creative Host prepare for their next session and keep the schedule running smoothly. Full guardian pick-up terms for attendees under 18 are in our Terms and Conditions.
